The Dx challenge is open to all university and biotech companies (academic, start-ups, larger companies and institutions) within the US and Canada working on the development of new point of care immunoassays.
We want to hear about your development project, your initial research findings, current approaches for target detection and how the use of Cytiva components helps to improve the overall workflow. Register your interest in the challenge and submit your entry before July 30, 2024 at 5:00pm ET for your chance to win. (*Terms and conditions apply)
A panel of Cytiva judges will evaluate projects submitted based on innovativeness and potential impact. Selected finalists will present to the panel, who will choose Dx Challenge winners.

Klaus Hochleitner, PhD
Global Product Specialist
Dr. Klaus Hochleitner is a recognized global expert in membrane-based detection and analysis systems. He has published extensively and is in demand as a speaker on this topic. Klaus is currently Global Product Specialist for Diagnostics at Cytiva. In this position, he focuses on teaching, training, and supporting diagnostic rapid test developers and manufacturers, sharing his expertise on the materials and methods to develop and produce diagnostic systems.
Lee Jenkins
Senior Product Manager
Lee is part of the Senior Management team within the Whatman business area of Cytiva, He is responsible for the performance of a large portfolio of products and services, primarily focused on the diagnostic rapid testing market. Lee has more than five years of experience with diagnostic development companies and has been part of Cytiva (formerly GE Life Sciences) business for over 9 years.
Sarah Zachmann
Senior Diagnostic Scientist
Sarah is a Senior Diagnostic Scientist and is a key member of the Diagnostic team for Cytiva. In this position, she focuses on teaching, training, and supporting diagnostic rapid test developers and manufacturers, sharing her expertise on the materials and methods to develop and produce diagnostic systems.
